This original HTC desktop charging dock cradle for your HTC Thunderbolt is designed to charge your HTC Thunderbolt with a standard as well as with an extended 2750mAh battery.

If you happen to have a few spare standard or extended batteries for your HTC Thunderbolt, this desktop charger will allow you to charge a spare battery at the same time as you charging your smartphone. (You can only charge 1 spare battery at a time in the additional spare battery slot).

HTC Thunderbolt Desktop Docking Station features

• Charges HTC Thunderbolt with standard or extended battery on device
• Charges an additional spare battery (standard or extended) at the same time while charging your phone
• Syncs data & chargers at the same time
• LED power indicator (Red = charging the device and 2nd battery, Green = power on / fully charged the device and 2nd battery)
• Full Dock Mode App (your HTC Thunderbolt must be running Android Gingerbread)
   

The Full Mode Mode App comes with plenty of settings that can be setup based on your own preferences. Here are the available setting for dock app.

  • Auto-launch - launch dock mode Home in dock automatically
  • Auto-connect - connect to specific Bluetooth device automatically (this is very useful if you use your desktop dock in the office and if you want your phone to connect to an office Bluetooth headset as soon as you dock your phone).
  • Auto-resume - if user doesn't operate the device, auto launch the most recently used app.
  • Friend Stream updates - show status updates on dock mode
  • Portable Wi-Fi hotspot - turn on hotspot in dock automatically
  • USB connection type - you also have an option to choose from whether you want your Thunderbolt to perform the following as soon as you dock your phone: Charge only, HTC Sync, Disk drive, Internet Connection mode, Media sync, Internet pass-through
